Thank you for your interest in serving as a Boone County
poll worker. As a student poll worker, you could
serve as a computer support judge, a troubleshooter, a greeter, or as an election judge.
Poll workers earn $9 per hour for up to 6 hours of training, and earn $10 per hour for Election Day work. Once you have registered as a student poll worker on this page you will be directed to the County Clerk's website. On the Clerk's website you must register as Boone County poll worker and, if applicable, sign up for trainings. Eligible registrants will be
contacted by email about training and poll worker assignments.
In order to register through this site, you must be:
• A U.S. Citizen
• At least 18 years of age
• A current student AND
• Registered to vote in Boone County
If you are not a student, please go to the
County Clerk's website
and click on the link under "Election Poll Workers Needed" to sign up to be a poll
worker.
If you are not yet registered to vote in Boone County,
you must first mail in your
voter registration form
(click on "Postcard Registration" in the menu on
